Hardtail mountain bikes

A mountain bike front, or hardtail, has the front suspension and a rigid rear train. Before choosing compare geometry, size, wheels and components in relation to your routes.

Hardtail mountain bikes: suspension up front, a rigid rear end.

• Paths and layout. For dirt roads and cross country exits, evaluate the position in the saddle and the behavior you are looking for. Categories are a starting point: the tab distinguishes individual models.
• Fork and wheels. Check hiking, settings, wheel size and tires. They are not the same on all front MTBs.
• Cut and try. The acronyms S, M and L do not always match between brands. Compare geometries and recommended height, or ask for advice.

Your size, with clear availability.

The product page lists each variant separately: in stock for sizes in stock, available to order when the variant can be ordered, sold out when it cannot be purchased. One size being available does not mean all other sizes are available. You can add to the cart directly from your size’s row.

To assess handling and riding position, explore our Bike Test and our bike fitting. Our team will confirm how the service works and its availability with you.
