Choices are logged with time, notice version, choice identifier, allowed categories, a hashed IP address and browser information, to document consent rather than personalise advertising.
Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads receive Consent Mode V2 signals. Before consent or after refusal, all Google consent states are denied. Advanced mode may send measurement signals without advertising or analytics cookies, supporting aggregate reporting and modelled conversions. This is not complete tracking of an individual visit. Names, emails, phone numbers and addresses entered in forms are not sent in these events. Statistics consent enables analytics storage; marketing consent enables advertising storage and personalisation.
Microsoft Clarity loads only after statistics consent, for usability analysis and session recordings with sensitive data masking. Meta Pixel loads only after marketing consent to measure events and campaigns. Withdrawal prevents subsequent activation and reloads the page to stop loaded scripts. Google Ads enhanced conversions
With marketing consent, Google Ads enhanced conversions may use server-side SHA-256 hashes of email, phone and first/last name, together with postcode and country, to match a purchase to Google campaigns. Street and city are not transmitted for this feature. Hashes are pseudonymised personal data, not anonymous data. No matching data is sent by this feature when marketing consent is refused. These contact details are not added to GA4 or Meta event payloads or site audit reports.
