RAPID RED CARBON
Fulcrum Rapid Red Carbon: speed to discover new horizons.
The Rapid Red family completes with wheels dedicated to those who want to discover new territories and new paths, with the fun of a little extra speed.
Reactivity, lightness and reliability are the keywords of the new Fulcrum Rapid Red Carbon, a product we have developed for use gravel (and for whatever gravel means to you), using the best technology of our top-of-the-range wheels.
Lightness and reactivity are guaranteed by 700C carbon circle with asymmetrical profile - S-Shape. This technology allows to achieve a better balance between the tension of the rays.
Optimized balancing also results in maintaining high performance over time. In addition, the particular shape of the rim profile generates an increase of 2,5% of lateral stiffness compared to a traditional U-shaped profile.
For maximum performance with tubeless covers, the rims of the new Rapid Red Carbon are equipped with bridge not drilled 2WF for tubeless.
The unpunched bridge is also finished in C-Lux Finish, a mirror finish that facilitates the mounting of the tire.
The assembly of the wheel is finally completed with Mo-Mag technology, patented by Fulcrum, which provides with a simple and ingenious operation the setting of the nipple on the hole of the circle through a magnet.
At geometry level, the rim has a high profile 30mm equipped with a system of "mini-hook" which allows to extend compatibility to a wider range of pressures. The dimensional accuracy Fulcrum also guarantees greater safety against low pressure studs, thanks to the greater surface of available cover connected to the inner channel increased by 25mm.
And according to tradition #fulcrumfast we also intervened on look, adopting functional choices both at the aesthetics and performance.
