The product in detail.
The typical lightness of the Slr range and the resistance of the chassis with Carbokeramic technology are integrated with the benefits of Flow anatomical cutting that ensures total seat comfort.
The saddle sizes
Currently Selle Italia offers 6 size variants divided into two groups: S1, S2, S3 ... L1, L2, L3. With regard to the specific sizes, the S saddles are all quite narrow, i.e. with a seating point of 131-136 mm wide, while the Ls range from 145 mm to a maximum of 150 mm.
The number associated with the size (1, 2 or 3) then identifies the presence or not of the central hole (flow technology): a special anatomical cut that allows you to unload the seat point, ensuring excellent comfort through greater flexibility in the central part of the saddle. .
The models S1 and L1 are free of the central hole, suitable for cyclists without a high rotation of the pelvis, and therefore do not need to lighten the pressure and friction that are created on the saddle. .
The saddles S2 or L2 have a small central cut, and are suitable for cyclists with an average rotation of the pelvis that during the pedaling produce pressure and clutch: elements that put together increase the temperature on the seat point and can lead to criticality and discomfort at the physical level. .
The third size S3 or L3 is about saddles with wide central hole, recommended to cyclists with a high rotation of the pelvis, which create high pressure and friction on the surface of the saddle. .
Inside the size 3, saddles with SuperFlow technology are also available, i.e. with even wider central hole, for cyclists who prefer a higher feeling of comfort. .
SuperFlow technology in fact, drastically reduces all the discomfort caused by prolonged pressure on the pelvic area, allowing you to always find an optimal and extremely comfortable sitting position. .
GUIDE TO SIZES
- S1 = Intertrochanteric distance and low rotation of the pelvis
- S2 = Intertrochanteric distance and medium rotation of the pelvis (Flow saddles)
- S3 = Intertrochanteric distance \"straight" and high rotation of the pelvis (flow and superflow saddles)
- L1
- L2 = Intertrochanteric distance • wide and medium rotation of the basin (flow saddles)
- L3 = Intertrochanteric distance . wide and high rotation of the basin (flow and SuperFlow saddles)
