Bike Test in Magenta: how to prepare a useful test

Starting with a question, not just a model

Do you want to know if moving from the street to the gravel, knowing an e-bike or comparing a position with that of the bike you already use? Explaining the main doubt helps the team to understand which test might be useful.

A short exit doesn't answer all the questions about a bicycle. However, it can make the comparison more concrete and let you identify the details to be deepened in the card or with the shop.

What to communicate first

• Category and models that interest you, with any links.
• The size to check and the bike you currently use.
• Type of routes, experience and test objective.
• Your availability of days and times.

The catalog for sale does not automatically coincide with the fleet of tests. Model, size, formula and availability of the test must be confirmed by the team.

What to ask at the time of confirmation

Ask where to submit, which documents or equipment are required, what to bring and what duration, route and conditions are applicable. Any costs, securities or limits must result from the confirmation received: do not consider them included or excluded on the basis of a general guide.

Do not leave for the store just because you sent a request. The request opens a contact; the availability of proof must be agreed.

During the test: comparable observations

Focus on what you wanted to understand: ease of driving, perceived position, behavior on the type of route agreed and practicality of the controls. If you compare multiple bikes, note also the size and layout: otherwise you risk comparing non-equivalent experiences.

For the test follow directions and conditions agreed with the team. If a command or adjustment is not clear to you, ask for explanations before leaving.

Afterwards: transform the sensations into a choice

Share two or three precise observations and check the version tab you would buy. The proven bike may not match in each component to the specimen for sale.
