S, M, ML or 56 are not interchangeable sizes between all brands. Start from the exact model, its geometries and your needs before choosing a size.
The abbreviation is a producer reference
A ML measure identifies a size in the catalog of that brand and model. It does not automatically describe the same position as an M or one measurement in centimeters of another bicycle. Even two families of the same brand may require different comparisons.
Always check full name, version and year of the model. A generic table found for a similar bike may refer to different geometries.
The useful information to be collected
Prepare height, size of the horse if correctly detected, model and size of the current bike. Explains the type of exits and if you already have a position that suits you. A photo of the bike or the link of its geometry can help comparison.
If you feel annoying on the saddle, describe them without looking for a diagnosis from a table. The choice of size and any health problems require different evaluations; the positioning service does not replace a health opinion.
If you are between two sizes
Do not automatically choose the available one, nor the one with the biggest discount. Ask which geometry differences count between the two sizes of the model you are interested in and what adjustments are provided by the manufacturer.
Before purchasing components to correct a dubious measure, evaluate with the team whether the chassis is suitable. The adjustment and compatibility limits of the components must be respected: they are not the same for all bikes.
Use Size Guide, Bike Test and Biomechanics for the Right Purpose
The manufacturer's guide orients the choice on the model. The Bike Test helps to know sensations and category, within the limits of the bikes actually available for the test. Biomechanics deepens positioning: ask the team how it takes place and what information to bring.
If you purchase online, send the product link and specify the size you are evaluating. If you come to the store, first agree on availability to avoid a trip based on a generic model presence in the catalog.
Availability: choose the correct line
On the product sheet check the individual size. Ready delivery, bookable and sold out can live in the same model. A size in the cart is not a reservation of the goods: availability and purchase are checked by the system.
Customer support must start from the correct measure, not from the preset variant code in the link received.
